My New Adventure – The Farmer’s Wife Sampler Quilt
Yay! My copy of The Farmer’s Wife Sampler Quilt book arrived in the mail today. I’m so excited. I have always been fascinated by quilting but too scared to make one. After a Craftsy course (future post), I started my first quilt and have high hopes of actually finishing it. Then I stumbled upon a group on Facebook for Farmer’s Wife quilt and I’m hooked. The idea of making different blocks then sewing them all up into a quilt really appealed to me. Maybe because I get distracted by new things easily. This way a different block each month should keep me interested until I have enough for a quilt.
I purchased my copy of the Farmer’s Wife Sampler Quilt book from the Book Depository. I found they had the cheapest price that included postage to Australia. If you would like to buy a copy, here is a link to the Farmer’s Wife Sampler Quilt book.
Now for the fun part … shopping for fabric :).
