Completed Knitting
I was curious so I thought I have a go at knitting a Romper with footsies. Not as great as I want it but still cute. As I was using a solid/plain coloured yarn, I thought I add an owl for fun. Here is Lucy modelling it. Lucy is a 14″ Nurture Baby doll made by my friend Felicia M using the Sweet Seriah Nurture Baby printed pattern. Currently, the Sweet Seriah (Sweet Seriah Facebook Page) Nurture Baby pattern is no longer available in print. Second hand copies do come up for sale but are rare. The romper pattern is by Ashley Darling and is not released yet but will be released soon on her Ravelry Store: Ashley Darling Designs. I have also tested another Romper pattern and here is Lucy (my girls finally chose a name) modelling it. This romper pattern was easy to knit up but took a little longer as it was done in baby yarn. In 2012, I bought my first Blythe Doll: Simple Vanilla and I set out to knit her a Écolière Beret for when she arrived home. I chose a yarn that will result in a Fair Isle effect. This Owlie Sleep Sack is made for a friend who is having a baby boy. Another friend has knitted a matching hat and some booties to complete the set.
